Who We Are

A Movement.
The Regal Eagle was founded on one simple idea: Detroit deserves a proper soccer pub. Not a sports bar that occasionally shows football. A dedicated, passionate, knowledgeable home for supporters of every club, every league, every national team.
Southwest Detroit is one of the most soccer-obsessed neighborhoods in the United States — a community where the game runs through families and generations. We built The Regal Eagle here on purpose. We are proud to serve this neighborhood and every fan who makes the journey.
From 7 AM Premier League kickoffs to midnight Champions League second legs, our doors are open, the drinks are flowing, and the atmosphere is electric.

Supporting the Mexicantown Community
The Regal Eagle sits at the heart of Mexicantown — one of Detroit's most vibrant and soccer-loving neighborhoods. We source from local vendors, hire from the community, and host regular events that bring neighbors together around the game they love.
Youth Soccer
We partner with local youth clubs to raise funds, host watch parties for young teams, and offer free space for community soccer meetups. The future of the game in Detroit starts with the kids, and we are proud to back them.
Detroit City FC
We are proud supporters of Detroit City FC — the club that proved this city is a soccer city. From supporter group watch parties to pre-match meetups, the Regal Eagle is the unofficial second home of the Northern Guard.

Born From a Passion for the Game
Two Detroit soccer fans — tired of watching the Champions League in a bar that cared more about turning the channel — decided to build the place they always wished existed.
The Build
Renovating Southwest Detroit
We gutted the old space at 3537 Vernor W and rebuilt it from scratch. New beer selection, a custom screen wall, and an entirely new outdoor beer garden/patio with a projector worthy of a stadium.
The Opening
Opening Our Doors
We open our doors just in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup right here in North America — the biggest sporting event in the world, and we'll have the best seat in Detroit.
